Celebration of Christmas at The Barn Theatre

Our senior KPA students had the privilege of performing to two sold-out houses in "A Celebration of Christmas at the Barn Theatre" on 16th December. A truly beautiful and emotional show in memory of 17-year-old Oxted resident, Abi Dean, who sadly passed away in September 2023 following a battle with a rare and aggressive form of eye cancer. The community came together to raise a whopping £13,000 for the Royal Marsden Hospital, Young Lives vs Cancer and The Barn Theatre. Miss Kerry also performed a lyrical duet and a solo to a tribute song written and performed by two of Abi's uncles and her cousin. Those of you with keen eyes would have also spotted her as one of Santa's elves!

Being asked to perform for such a special event and being able to support those children and young people who require treatment was truly incredible, and we send a heartfelt thank you to Abi's family, the organisers and The Barn Theatre for letting us be a part of this tremendous night.
